Julie Umerle is a contemporary artist and painter, born in the United States and raised in London. She graduated from University College Falmouth, Cornwall with 1st Class Honours, and earned a Masters of Fine Art at Parsons School of Design, New York. She currently lives and works in London.

Julie Umerle has received awards for her work from the Arts Council England, and from the Gottlieb Foundation. She has exhibited in the UK and internationally. Her paintings are held in public and private collections.
