Artist-in-Residence at London Marriott Canary Wharf
London Marriott Canary Wharf, where I have been artist-in-residence since 2017, has recently reopened after lockdown. The artist residency has been extended beyond its initial period of one year.
The Marriott’s innovative artist-in-residence programme facilitates encounters with exciting contemporary art, and is an exciting collaboration between art and hospitality. Visitors to London Marriott Canary Wharf have the opportunity to view my paintings in a curated exhibition at the Marriott's art gallery, providing a lasting legacy of this extraordinary collaboration.
As Bertrand Dijoux, the Marriott’s manager observed: “The gallery space adds yet another dimension to our hotel's offerings. In addition to infusing every gathering with an element of glamour, it brings a little bit of London's iconic culture within our walls for a truly original experience.”
I have seventeen paintings on display. All of which are for sale. Five paintings are hung in the gallery and one painting is hung on each of its twelve floors.
